Personal Accounts at Work Managing access to personal accounts (like Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and Drobox) on your small business network should be near the top of your acceptable use policy. It is important to identify security risks beyond the nuts and bolts of your network. Some of the least expected security failures can be allowing users to access their personal accounts on your company devices. Business’s that have enterprise services like Microsoft Information Protection (for example) can maintain ownership of their information wherever it is. Those Business’s usually have IT staff to create/manage sensitivity labels to govern their data.
